Set within a 72-acre site less than a furlong from the Esplanade, Redcar Racecourse is a bastion of British horse racing with space for 10,000 roaring spectators. There are picnic areas, a cafe and a bar, as well as the glossy Parade Ring, a Betting Ring and a breathless winners' enclosure. In addition to their equine aspirations, the leafy course also hosts conferences, meetings and weddings in the well-equipped Paddock Suite.
Fuelling an excited desire for the thunder of hooves, visitors will take their seats in the Voltigeur restaurant for a two course lunch before heading out to the stands.
