Kids aged between 11 and 17 can throw a fully-prepared rally car sideways during a half-day junior driving experience at Chris Birkbeck Rally School. The day will begin with a safety briefing and some refreshments before young guns take a seat behind the wheel for a lesson in clutch control, steering and braking. A second session in the Ford Ka will see skills develop as hoons prepare to complete a full-blown rally stage. Then, navigating varying tarmac and gravel surfaces on the rally stage as their instructor calls out corner notes and offers guidance. Student and teacher will swap places for one final session as the experienced driver shows newcomers just how wildly the car can be driven on slippery surfaces. Things will be wrapped up with a tour of the rally team's workshop and the presentation of an achievement certificate.

The venue welcomes individuals of all driving abilities to dip their toe into the world of rally, with a range of experiences varying in length from half a day to two days.
