Intertwining flavours from Bangladesh and North India, head chef Bahar Miah has conjured up a menu of both traditional dishes and unique creations that embrace inventive blends of flavours and spices to generate a more distinctive taste. The clean lines and monochrome decor provide a pleasing contrast to the full-to-bursting menu of vibrant dishes.
Dining pairs and double daters can bask in the aromas of the Cinnamon Room and begin the feast with a starter such as tikka paneer (£4.50), marinated boneless chicken cooked in the tandoor and served with mild creamy Indian cheese. Transporting taste buds to the main course, guests can get stuck into lamb tikka balti (£8.95), a dish cooked in mixed spices, peppers, tomatoes and onions enriched by thick balti sauce.
