The Marton Hotel has received a great deal of customer reviews, and the majority are encouraging. 65% of Bookers would stay at the hotel again. While some guests found the décor of rooms tired, and a few had minor issues with their rooms, reviews are overall positive. Visitors particularly like the hotel’s unique charm and warm ambience, as well as the personable staff.

Have to say we received a warm welcome from the staff on our arrival after a long journey. Room was not one of the refurbished ones, but clean and the beds where comfortable. Tea making in the room as well as TV. All the staff where very pleasant from the top to the bottom a well organised team [sic]. Full English breakfast was just that, food plenty full and lots of choice cereal wise. We had a great stay and will be going back there later this year.

Don’t let first impressions put you off. We stayed here for two nights with some friends and on arriving i [sic] must admit we were a little concerned about the appearance of the hotel but when we got inside we were nicely surprised. Our rooms were big and very clean. The breakfast was very nice and the staff were [sic] friendly and couldn't do enough for us. I would certainly stay here again.
