Delivering bouts of adrenaline in turbo charged packages, Allstars Driving Academy are experts in white knuckled rubber burning. The joy riding instructors are all professional drivers dedicated to spreading the racing bug to speed enthusiasts through rally experiences and motorised gymkhanas of accelerated agility. With an instruction fleet including a four wheel drive Subaru Impreza and a Nissan Skyline two litre turbo, guests take the reins of growling engines as they aim to tame motor beasts.
At Wheel Adventure Park in Birmingham, guests can indulge their inner drift demon and tear up the countryside peace and quiet with wheel skids and handbrake turns. The two hour experience begins with a safety briefing and introduction before two quick ‘car control’ classes, getting to white-knuckled grips with essential skills like donuts, figure of eights and restraining expletives. The day accelerates with rookies taking on five laps of the drift course, putting their skills in to practice with their instructor encouraging from the passenger seat, before switching places and clinging on for two laps of pro whizz around from an international drifting instructor.
