Home to over 200 birds and nesting in the glorious grounds of the Shuttleworth Estate, the Birds of Prey Centre is home to one of the UK's largest collections of elegantly feathered friends. With many different species of owl, hawk, eagle, falcon, kite and vulture, the centre runs many clubs and courses for bird watchers and avid nature lovers, whether it's embarking on evening owl classes, learning some falconry skills, half day hawking or the ultimate eagle experience. Catering for birthdays and special anniversaries to stag and hen dos and even weddings, parties can learn about various raptor hunting techniques as well as how to tie the falconers knot.

With a children’s playground, picnic area by the lake, and scenic walks through the owl wood and aviary, there are plenty of opportunities to ruffle some feathers, as children under the age of 16 get to go free.
