Invoking a sense of transcendental triumph in holiday-makers from the four corners of the Land of Nod, Santa Barbara Golf and Ocean Club is an ocean-front paradise located on the very southern tip of Tenerife. Enjoying majestic views of the Atlantic Ocean to the south and the elevated volcanic Parque Nacional del Teide to the north, the retro-Moorish Santa Barbara Golf and Ocean Club is the envy of hotels across the globe. Whitewashed with minimalist architecture, the hotel clings onto the cliff side in an embracing semi-circle centred by a large, outdoor swimming pool. Looking away from the waves towards the island, visitors will be greeted by a staggered wall of balconies gazing over the ocean, each of which hides an individually decorated room of cool tile features, modern furniture and essential home comforts. Set among landscaped gardens and boasting on-site shops as well as being flanked by The Tenerife Open, this is just the place for dreamers and hole-in-one enthusiasts alike.
Enchanted Groupon holders can dose off and escape to the heady luxury of the Santa Barbara Golf and Ocean Club for a choice of getaways. Toasting the excursion on arrival with a welcome food pack and cool bottle of champagne, pop the cork and enjoy a spot of fizzy fulfilment before taking advantage of the wealth of opportunities at your disposal. Taking it easy, make a splash with a frolic-filled expedition across the meandering outdoor swimming pool or simply gaze at the wild beauty of the Atlantic from behind the comfort of a sunbed and good book. If beach banter is on the cards, pop down to the shore and explore the mystery of the deep blue wet. Come the rumble of the tummy, take advantage of the proximity of the local town and carouse the bars and restaurants before retiring to the bedroom to watch the sunset over the ocean. Passing the night in sumptuous surroundings, awake at leisure to continue with a spot of extended daydreaming.
