Reviews
Cafe Med has received a satisfying 3/5 stars on ViewNewcastle. Reviewers mostly said the food was enjoyable and the menu offered exciting choices. Some feel aspects of the restaurant could use a bit of a sprucing up.
Excellent value , food very good and staff very obliging.

The tortilla chips, jalapenos, herbs and melted cheese were just as you would expect, but the added flavour of the tandoori chicken worked surprisingly well and there was plenty meat mixed in with the tortilla chips. I chose the mussels in garlic and cream (£6.50). The dish itself was fine, although I found the sauce a little too heavy for me. That said, I polished off the lot.
