The Fine Print

Limit 1 per 2 or 4 people. May buy multiple as gifts. No booking required. Register first purchase at info@downatthefarm.co.uk with Groupon codes and full names of pass holders. Passes can be collected upon first visit; must be collected by 22 Aug 2012. To collect pass for the two person option, bring Groupon voucher and passport photo of the main pass holder, and present at the gift shop. To collect pass for the four person option, bring Groupon voucher and passport photo of the two main pass holders, and present at the gift shop. No need to bring a photo for every individual. One pass holder must be 18 or older. One pass holder must always be in attendance at every visit – but can attend with a combination of pass holders or guests. Passes valid for entry only; excludes any chargeable rides. Replacement passes incur a £10 supplement. Valid on option purchased only.

Winning the prestigious best Enterprise in the North East 2011 award from the Countryside Alliance, Down at the Farm help improve human-animal relations with hands-on petting at their charming countryside setting. Children of all ages can get to know the new-born lambs, Shetland ponies and not-so-furry reptiles. As a licensed zoo, the animal-loving environment can offer a home for non-native animals to graze and trot around in, including raccoons, giant tortoises, donkeys, rabbits, guinea pigs and Shetland ponies to name but a few.

This place is outstanding, and my daughters absolutely loved every second of it! They really have put a lot of effort into the place, and the staff are fantastic! The educational talks and petting opportunities are great, and there is so much to do!

Brilliant facilities with lots to do and easy to get round, wide selection of animals to get to know, help feed etc, staff very friendly and helpful would recommend to everyone for a fun family day out.
