Despite having the ability to stay still for hours, crocodiles make particularly amateurish photographers, due to their tendency to snap at everything. Sink your teeth into today’s Groupon from Neil Atkinson. Choose from the following options:

This well-travelled, widely published, and solo-exhibited photographer and filmmaker has written and presented his own ITV series about photography, A Moment in Time, and produced a film shortlisted at the Limelight Film & Arts Awards. He offers an array of courses that capture the essence of Newcastle's history and the city at night, alongside sessions to help shutterbugs shift from ‘auto’ mode, and provide navigation through the technological labyrinth of the SLR camera.
In groups of eight to twelve, view-finders can embark on a half- or whole-day cityscape masterclass based in and around the central hub of Newcastle. The course covers exposure, aperture, speed settings, and composition, and touches on photographic special effects. Target practice involves snapping the surroundings, immortalising landmarks while paying attention to finer details. Clickers can also get their hands on a bundle of training notes for future reference, and participants will receive a 12" x 10" print of their favourite shot.
