History and tradition live on at this century old club, where the ancient game of golf is played within reach of the historic Alnwick Castle. The par 70 parkland course is spread over 6200 yards of pristine Northumberland countryside, and serves as a base for inspirational views out over the North Sea coastline. Players are all welcome to retreat to the welcoming clubhouse where a range of refreshments are available alongside bags of seeds, useful for bagging some of those elusive birdies.
With membership running until 31 March 2013, a golf bag full of treats is available to new members. Two rounds of golf are included to allow for quick acquaintance with the challenging course. A 44% reduction on green fees for the rest of the year is then available with half price buggy hire available for any member wanting to save their energy for the key shots. Every member will have the opportunity to obtain a CONGU handicap and an English County Card giving them discounted access to many other courses.
