Underwater exploration in the bathtub is only limited to discovering bubble architecture and expressionless ducks. Expand your sea levels with today's Groupon from Blue Reef Aquarium, Tynemouth. Choose from the following options:• £3.13 for a child’s ticket (50% off)
• £4.38 for an adult’s ticket (up to 50% off)
Offering a watery glimpse in to the submarine creatures from the seven seas, Blue Reef Aquarium is part of a conservation and education chain spanning the shores of the UK. The centres aptly inhabit seaside locations, and while underwater tunnels give a crab’s eye view of Mediterranean waters, outdoor arenas aim to recreate the Great British coastline for seals, starfish, and beach scuttling critters. The team of aquarists has worked on events with The Shark Trust, as well as rescuing and rehabilitating turtles, and breeding seahorses, while also finding time to provide answers to any pressing fish-focussed conundrums.
Mix and matching adult and child tickets, teams can be submerged in a world of sea life, discovering the colourful tenants of coral reefs and rock pools alike. Shows and feeding times span throughout the day, with shark feeding, talks on Asian otters, and encounters with seals getting guests up close and personal, and suitably soggy. An on-site cafe is on hand to keep families fuelled up for intrepid underwater exploration, with a tip of hat towards oceanic conservation.

Excelelnt [sic] place to take the kids. Lots to see and do. Kids love it no matter how many times they go. The seals and otters are great to see and watch their displays.

A great place to visit plenty of things to see and touch. Great value for money and just a stome throw away from a premier sand beach a full day worthwhile in Tynemouth. [sic]
