Operating an eatery voted Best Italian Restaurant in the Customer Excellence Awards, owner and head chef Franco Graziani has been capturing the taste of the Med for over 25 years, serving up authentic dishes learnt from his Italian family back in Rome. With a signature black and cream interior, the restaurant is enlivened by sparkling chandeliers, candle lit tables, and Italian baroque furniture. Franco's also boasts a sumptuous menu of sea food, pizzas and pastas, and a selection of specially sourced fine wines.
Dining duos or double daters can take their taste buds on a trip which encompasses both hot and cold flavours. To start, guests can tuck into formaggio fritti (£5.95), deep fried camembert with raspberry coulis or keep refreshed with the insalata al capretto (£7.95), a dish of baby spinach, crispy bacon, asparagus and goats cheese. Moving on to the traditional dishes for mains, diners can enjoy the risotto di pollo calabrese (£10.50), a dish of marinated chicken with spicy salami pesto, fresh asparagus and herbs.
