Setting the race track alive every Saturday night, the 1800-capacity Sunderland Greyhound Stadium acts as a heaving hub of entertainment with an on-site bar, restaurant and nightclub. They offer party packages for stags and hens and executive boxes, complete with VIP, five-star treatment. After the doors swing open at 6pm, the first race sets off at 6.30pm and continues apace until ten in the evening.
Parties of two with a taste for a flutter can enjoy a jam-packed evening, kicking things off with admission to the stadium. After being handed their race cards, pairs can try their luck and place a bet if they wish.
