Bringing the stuff of science fiction speeding into the 21st Century, Segway Unleashed introduces patrons to zero emission, electricity-powered vehicles capable of running up to 24 miles on a single charge. Mirroring the slightest movement in the rider ensures bodies remain as balanced as a particularly sturdy English oak. With areas including a training zone and a woodland course consisting of bumps, sweeping corners and mini obstacles, riders can feel the exhilaration of accelerating their double-wheeled machines up to speeds of 12mph.
Separated into three fun packed and challenging zones, the Segway Challenge will have riders gliding through the air for up to an hour. After donning safety equipment the session kicks off with a health and safety briefing, covering the basics of steering, slalom, and, crucially, stopping. Next, riders are ready to hit the woodland zone where they will negotiate bumps, sweeping corners, rough terrain and master the hairpin turn. Some friendly group competition will round off the day with riders negotiating various obstacles, following directional arrows and determining who is the speediest Segway rider of them all.
