After too much time in dark rooms, the quickest way into the light is to sell the cameras and buy some candles. Avoid being underexposed with today’s Groupon: £39 for a four hour intensive photography course with Ray Lowe Studios.
Comfortably resting on a throne of 35 years of photographic experience, Ray Lowe Studios offers its willing subjects cutting edge creative portraiture alongside photography courses. All photographers are trained by Ray Lowe, previously president of both the FBIPP and the FMPA, and all employees are members of the BIPP, ensuring a high level of quality and customer service.
Image hunters can bring their own camera down to the studio for an intensive four hour course, with lighting techniques, camera equipment, and posing instruction. Along with the opportunity to photograph models in front of a variety of backgrounds, pupils will build up a piggy bank of knowledge that includes fundamentals about aperture, ISO, and shutter speed. Once fleeting moments have been pinned down there will be the chance to polish digital editing techniques on Photoshop before having one-to-one time with the tutor for individual questions and to critique any personal work that lens wielders wish to bring along.
