Using local, seasonal, and organic produce when available, The Queensbury pays tribute to British cuisine, dishing-up leisurely lunches and regal dinners. A patchwork of mirrors covers the walls of this quirky, family establishment, which juxtaposes chesterfield sofas against majestic dining chairs.
The kitchen is open from 11.30am until late, with the chefs whipping up inventive lunch and dinner specialities. Evening starters include the goats' cheese and tomato tart (£7.50), drizzled with balsamic vinegar and garnished with a cluster of rocket leaves; or the succulent honey roasted ham (£7.25), served with duck eggs and fresh salad. For main course, meat-lovers might be tantalised by the char-grilled rib-eye steak (£17.50), adorned with mushrooms, watercress, and a portion of fat chips. Others may fancy the pan-roasted scallops (£16.50), with a dash of truffle oil and a vegetable medley of cauliflower puree, spinach, and buttered leeks. Whether opting for seasonal vegetarian dishes, or something meatier, all diners can sip on a glass of red or white wine with their meal.
The Queensbury received an appetising 4/5 from Qype users while visitors to ViewLondon awarded 3/5. Though opinions in the past have varied on the service, most people have enjoyed the atmosphere and diners have complimented the food.
Food is fresh and well presented & portions are reasonable. There is more restaurant style seating/service in the back with a pub atmosphere in the front. Very cosy in winter, a little dark in the summer but the outdoor area is well maintained and appealing.

The menu was full of very different varieties but with a strong British Feel, I ended up ordering lamb shanks which I must say were to die for, all in all a Great night met some great people [sic]
