A naan bread makes an ideal mop for curries, an edible flat cap alternative, and a mini flying carpet for escapee samosas. Take your taste buds on an Eastern adventure with today’s Groupon: £5 for an all you can eat Indian buffet with waiter service at The Royal Bengal.
Faithful to tradition with the same family owners since opening 36 years ago, The Royal Bengal boasts a fragrant plethora of authentic spice-peppered dishes. Experts in cradling appetites with a taste of the exotic, dedicated chefs bring India's sophisticated use of spices and herbs to an extensive menu of diverse Indian fare and familiar favourites. While a delivery service is available for couch surfers, the restaurant is situated just a bhaji’s bounce from Northampton town centre, on Bridge Street, for those who prefer to eat out.
Tongues can tango over Eastern indulgences as the waiters usher out a buffet including starters, mains, sundries and side dishes. Herbivores can enjoy the benefits of India's longstanding vegetarian traditions with starters such as onion bhajees and vegetable biriyanis, pickled with subtle spices and shrouded in aroma. The more hearty of meat eaters can enjoy lamb tikka to start, boneless cubes marinated in yogurt and spicy spices; followed by the tandoori chicken, clay oven cooked to tenderness. All traditional dishes including kormas, madras' and bhunas are available in meat or veggie options, so triceratops and t-rex types can gorge in perfect harmony. Side dishes include saag aloo and daal masala, with rice and naans also making a guest appearance on the B-side.
