One (£14) or two (£24) people or a family of four (£39) may finally be able to hear the distinctive howl of a wolf on British soil, thanks to a half-day experience with the beautiful creatures, starting with a talk about conservation and a chance to ask questions. Visitors to the North Bedfordshire conservation will have the opportunity to see wolves in the flesh and get a rare photograph while they learn more about the mysterious beasts. They will also be privy to where the expression "wolfing it down" came from at one of the animals' feeding times.

Anglian Wolf Society supports and raises funds for wolf conservation in the UK, also aiming to give people a chance to study or work with the animals. The non-profit, North Bedforshire organisation is run almost entirely by volunteers, and the wolves on site are fully socialised and accustomed to the presence of humans.
