A contender for the Northamptonshire Food & Drink Awards 2011/2012, The Tollemache Arms uses locally sourced produce where possible, to serve up seasonal meat, fish, and freshly prepared vegetarian dishes. The eatery, situated a short skip from the Harrington Aviation Museum and a range of rural walks, also raises glasses to birthdays, family get-togethers, and business functions with private event catering.
Banquets may begin with scallops served with roasted mango (£7) or sautéed pigeon breast with red onions and garlic (£6), before moving onto a moreish main course. Options include the Gressingham duck breast with dark cherries, green vegetables, and herb potatoes (£16), pork tenderloin stuffed with goat’s cheese and plums (£14), or conchiglioni pasta with goat’s cheese, tossed with roast vegetables (£11).
