Seaside breaks are best performed by the sharpened claws of resident crabs. Have a smashing time with today's Groupon: £89 for an overnight stay for two with three course dinner, breakfast, and afternoon tea at The Blyth Hotel.
A comfortable blend of vintage elegance and modern convenience, The Blyth Hotel accommodates two AA stars from its ambient, seaside location. An award-winning restaurant sits regally in the interior, welcoming well-travelled taste buds with hearty, locally sourced cuisine. 13 individually appointed bedrooms beguile the weary with decadent, Regency-style furnishings that evoke a quintessentially British atmosphere. Outside, fresh sea air and traditional fish and chip shops sit happily alongside cosy pubs and designer boutiques.
Tucking themselves into a superior king room, a spacious and opulent chamber equipped with digital television channels, guests will begin a timeless getaway. An evening will be spent dining in the hotel's AA rosette awarded restaurant, where a three course meal will be followed by coffee and petit fours. After an evening's rest, morning will be welcomed in with a hearty breakfast and as the day unwinds, a classic afternoon tea will be served with a glass of Adnams fizz provided for both visitors.

Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Southwold. Very friendly atmosphere and brilliant staff make it very homely. The food was exquisite, and worthy of a top restaurant. All in all outstanding.

We love Southwold and have finally found a great place to stay. This is an excellent unpretentious hotel that focuses on what's really important: a warm welcome; comfortable accommodation that is tastefully decorated and excellent food. They serve delicious evening meals including home-grown vegetables with Adnams fantastic wines and ales at a very reasonable price.
