The East Anglian Game and Country Fair returns to the Norfolk Showground for a weekend of activities, stalls and demonstrations. With the focus firmly on rural pursuits, the show features everything from sheep shows and terrier racing to bike and falconry demonstrations. There will also be opportunities to pick up some bushcraft skills and peruse a dizzying array of exhibition stands and areas, with charities and crafts making an appearance alongside clothing and food. The fair also features ‘have a go’ areas, giving visitors the chance to get involved with activities such as clay pigeon shooting, ferret racing, helicopter pleasure flights and 4x4 demonstration rides.
The Camping: Weekend visitors can arrive on Friday 25 April to set up their caravan, camper or tent for three nights (usually £40 per pitch), with entry on both days of the fair included for two adults (£24 per person) and two children between the ages of five and 16 (£8 per person). Camping facilities include permanent shower and toilet facilities, as well as on-site security, while evenings offer entertainment such as live music in the bar and a BBQ on Saturdays. Those wanting an electric hook-up for a caravan are asked to contact the merchant directly to book.
