Eyelashes are hopeless at playing cricket, mostly because they all bat at once. Get some winning skills with today’s Groupon: £49 for a half day eyelash extensions course at Jackie Hamilton School of Beauty.
Rolling out ITEC certifications for expert lipstick-wielders, Jackie Hamilton School of Beauty helps beginner and experienced beauticians brush up on their artistry. The family-run school hosts courses and diplomas for aspiring salon stars, teaching techniques for fashion and media styling alongside waxing and pedicures. An experienced team welcomes students to the well-equipped premises, and an on-site photography studio helps visitors pad out their portfolios with before and after shots.
Beauty tutors will introduce pupils to Express lash treatments, guiding them on how to help clients feel all fluttery with a choice of bringing their own equipment, or renting it from the school. The four hour course covers the preparation and application of semi-permanent lashes, and advises on how to communicate with clients and keep eyes looking good. Students will work on each other so that they leave wearing a full set of the extensions and have the opportunity to take photographs of their work. The course will finish with each student receiving a certificate of attendance.
