Incompetent architects often take the phrase 'bird’s eye view' literally, leading to blueprints of worms, park benches and annoyed statues. Rise up the pecking order with today’s Groupon at Blackbrook Zoological Park . Choose from the following options:

£7 for a full day’s admission for two (Up to 65% off)

£12 for a full day’s admission for four (Up to 70% off)

With one of country's largest collection of birds spreading their wings over 75 acres of Staffordshire countryside, Blackbrook Zoological Park flies visitors away with a selection of spectacular animal attractions. A medley of worlds await, from the toasty tropical house with towering trees, crashing waterfalls and a colorful array of feathered friends whizzing overhead, to the world of penguins, with a raised walkway and underwater viewing cave for visitors to catch these sharply dressed aquatic birds from every angle. Blackbrook is also home to a selection of non-avian beasts, including meerkats, snakes and nimble lemurs.

A pair or quartet of animal aficionados can enjoy a full day to spot over 300 species of birds and an array of mammals, reptiles, fish and amphibians. Visitors are free to explore the grounds at leisure, and to make the acquaintance of these colorful characters, including Kentucky, the penguin afraid of water, and the cheeky warty pig, Diwata, who trots around examining guests with his inquisitive snout. The Zoo will also be hosting special events over the Easter break including egg hunts (£3 supplement applies) and pottery painting (from £2.50 supplement applies).

Reviews

While not widely reviewed, several visitors have gone wild for fun days out at Blackbrook Zoological Park.

Great range of birds and some good animals too. The enclosures are arranged so that you can get really close to the exhibits. I would recommend this as a lovely day out for families with pre teens.
