We stayed at this hotel after a recommendation from a local guy to visit the village of Hartington. This hotel is amazing. We were immediately made to feel welcome by Alan and Judy, who are the new owners of the hotel. All of the staff are excellent here and cannot do enough for you. Our room was in the annexe of the hotel and was very spacious with, lovely furniture, soft furnishings and very clean bathroom . Overall it proved to be excellent value for money. We ate at the hotel that evening and the food and service were superb. Judy gave us a tour of the hotel and various refurbishments are taking place, but even without them the hotel is gorgeous. Breakfast the next morning was also fantastic, absolutely faultless with plenty of choice. Our only disappointment was that we only had one night and would loved to have stayed longer if we could have. We will definitely go back here and stay for longer.
