The ancestral home of the poet Byron, the Colwick Hall Hotel is a listed Georgian mansion where inspiring hospitality and the grand Georgetown restaurant give guests rhyme and reason to visit. Under cherub-strewn ceilings, guests will delight with a menu of fusion cuisine, offering Asian tidbits with British styling. Lunch and dinner in the grand dining room are accompanied by streams of music from the piano, setting afloat freedom-loving napkin swans.

Fusion treats include goat cheese and red onion croquettes with vine roasted tomatoes and salad, and lamb biryani; a fan of slow-cooked lamb, delicately spiced and served with aromatic rice.
