In the leafy Eastern wing of Nottingham's outskirts, Chris Miller Falconry Experiences offers a feathered array of sweeping encounters with some of the country's most majestic beasts. Fly-by and full day adventures with falcons and hawks run alongside eagle experiences which include handling and flying. With two countryside locations available, both sites are placed amid a soaring range of charming local pubs and amenities, whose services are often enlisted to accompany falconry experiences.
Arriving at the falconry site, guests can sink their talons into either a three hour or five hour experience, beginning with a brief history of the pursuit. Once visitors are acquainted with feathered friends such as Golden eagles, Steppe eagles, Eaurasian eagle owls, Gyr falcons, Bay Winged hawks, and Saker falcons, they can devour the depths of a complimentary cup or tea or coffee. After learning to handle and fly the birds, lunch will be provided at a local pub, with beak-tempting options including 6oz rump steak, vegetarian risotto of the day and a goats' cheese tart.
