Decorated with three twinkling stars from the AA, this golf course and hotel perches on the coast of Sutton-on-Sea, as its guests avoid hitting balls in to the North Sea. Sandilands Golf Club offers 18 holes on a thin par 70 course fringing the beach and offering a fresh and breezy challenge, while those who prefer the great indoors can enjoy the gym, bar, and on-site restaurant. The hotel’s location offers miles of seaside rambling, wanders in the Lincolnshire woods, or an exploratory drive to Skegness or the market village of Alford, allowing a little cultural enlightening on home turf.
Opting for a night or two of coastal snoozing, pairs can opt to spend their days on the golf course, with each day offering as much pitching and putting as they can fit in. The course is coupled with a training area, allowing a little practice between rounds, or non-sporty teams can take a country walk without interrupting bunkers. Each morning brings a full English breakfast, providing all the necessary energy for bracing sea air, or standard mini-break layabout time.
Former guests found the Grange and Links Hotel an indulgent place for a relaxing stay, thanks to the stately grounds and cosy rooms. TripAdvisor users scored the hotel an encouraging 4/5 stars.
Cozy [sic] old world charm, very friendly polite employees, could not do enough for us, clean rooms well maintained, a little dated but we think that adds to the charm. Food is great ! We enjoyed wonderful breakfasts, plenty of food…

We stay at the hotel for a few days every year. We are never disappointed. We had a lovely large room. The food is always good. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The gardens are always well kept and beautiful, a wonderful setting. We will be back again next year…
