Taking taste buds on a trip to the subcontinent from the heart Elton, Little India Restuarant provides contemporary takes on Indian favourites with a wide-ranging and varied menu. The culinary team presents traditional and modern spice sustenance, with dishes including tandooris, biryanis and shashliks, alongside a bar that stocks soft drinks, wines, and Indian and European beers in bottles and on draught.
In search of spice salvation, curry cravers are provided with pickles and poppadoms before they take their pick of starters including mixed kebab (£3.80) and hot meat puree (£4.50) before wrapping laughing gear around mains such as Indian tripuji (£11.95) and the Elton special balti of mixed barbecued meat and seasonal veg (£11.95). Each eater will also have their pick of any two side dishes, including a potato and spinach based sag aloo (£3.50), a cheesy motor paneer (£3.50), or naan and rice-based accompaniments such as Keema naan (£2.25) or special fried rice (£3).
