Fine dining is a particularly distinguished pursuit, with cutlery mix-ups often punished heavily by steep penalty fares. Moderate manners accordingly with today's Groupon: £26 for a three course à la carte meal for two at Marc & Daina's.
Blending a contemporary decadence, and a welcoming ambience, Marc & Daina's serves up a la carte fare to create a memorable restaurant experience and satisfy the most discerning diners. With a single seating policy in place, gastronauts can embark on an untrammelled culinary adventure, freed from the stomach-churning pressure of clock-watching. With gourmet party menus for all occasions and seasonal produce creating classic dishes with modern twists, every appetite is catered for.
Diners can choose from a wide selection of starters including mussels Tuscany, served with Napoli, chorizo sausage and coriander sauce (£7.95), or a goats cheese parcel (£5.95), signed, sealed, and delivered to expectant plates. With appetites piqued, guests will choose from a multitude of main courses including pork or steak stroganoff, served with shallots and mushrooms in a creamy three mustard sauce (£17.95), served with a timbale of spiced mango risotto. A full complement of gourmet desserts such as Crepes Suzette (£5.95), cooked in Grand Marnier and caramelised orange sauce will satisfy the sweetest teeth, and an extensive wine list provides ample opportunity to toast the occasion.
Reviews
Marc and Daina’s has attracted some fine reviews from satisfied diners. While some guests would like to see more varied menus, reviewers celebrate the quality of dishes, the hospitable staff and welcoming ambience.
Lovely food, nice variety and good fish and veggie options - maybe not the place for dieters though as everything is very rich. Very good service, our waitress was lovely and managed a busy night singlehandedly and very efficiently …
