Although cameras are frequently spotted at social events, they are notoriously introspective, often pulling the shutters down and sitting in dark rooms. Shed some light on photographic pursuits with today's Groupon: £29 for a three hour studio SLR photography class with a model for Michael Lau Photography.
Unveiling the secrets of studio artistry, fashion photographer Michael Lau employs knowledge gained from 10 years’ of creative experience to offer an array of digital camera courses in central Nottingham. Mr. Lau also focusses his lens for work which ranges from colourful family portraiture to commercial shoots, and provides additional digital retouching services to create dazzling effects. Hosting sessions in a fully equipped studio, the photographer complements his skills with resources which include in-house make-up artists, wardrobe stylists, and models.
Priming view-finders for this three-hour class, participants can convene in small groups to embark upon an intensive class in professional studio photography. Snap-happy Michael will guide learners with theoretical tutorials and hands-on exercises, during which cameras will be used as they get to grips with set-up, flash technique, and use of background. In the second part of the session, the expert will perform a practical demonstration in fashion photography with a live model, before participants get behind their own lenses for a flashy finish.
