Great golfers often sport a similar skill-set to nineties pop stars, requiring sharp moves, a penchant for clubs, and the ability to pull off wedges. Get into the groove with today’s Groupon from Paradise Island Adventure Golf. Choose from the following options:• £6 for one round for two people, or two rounds for one person (Up to 57% off)
• £10 for one round for four people (Up to 60% off)
A sporting portal to a mysterious world of psychedelic bunkers and desert islands, the Sheffield venue of Paradise Island Adventure Golf opened its doors to the city's intrepid explorers in early 2012. Visiting golfers can trek their way through jungle-smothered ruins, shark-infested shipwrecks and underwater caves, aiming to sink balls in each of the 18 holes along the way. The route is lined with exotic carvings, statues and plastic wildlife, setting the scene for competition red in tooth and claw. The centre hosts group packages, kids’ parties, and corporate team-building for grown-up pioneers.
Whether taking two rounds to perfect one's putting solo or enjoying one round with a friend or three, guests can put their clubs together for some fantasy sporting. Braving the Caribbean quay and the dreaded cannibal camp, challengers can try their luck at the 18 holes, with plenty of excuses for distracted dilly dallying and errant shots. With last tee-off at 9pm Monday to Friday, guests can indulge their competitive streaks and exercise their drive into the imaginary tropical sunset.
While Paradise Island Sheffield is still waiting to be widely reviewed, the courses have collectively attracted a swinging 567 Likes to date on Facebook.
