Romantically tucked amid flourishing gardens and in possession of four AA stars, this cottage-style hideaway juxtaposes historic charm with the contemporary luxury of an on-site spa and restaurant. Setting bags down in a superior room, guests will begin their overnight stay by settling into a chamber equipped with robes, a HD TV, and internet access.

Myself and three other ladies stayed for two nights and had a fantastic time. The reception ladies are extremely efficient and welcoming. It makes a nice change for a receptionist to actually take time to chat, something I have not experienced for a long time both here and abroad. The rooms were immaculate and the beds sooooooo comfy.

We stayed for our 25th wedding anniversary and was not disappointed, as the hotel was fully booked we were put in the Marie Antionette [sic] room which had a four poster bed seating area and large bathroom with a bath for two and sep shower at no extra cost. The pool area was clean with a few loungers to relax on around the pool there was a cafe were you could get drinks and a conservatory to relax in also a lovely whirlpool, sauna, steam room and solarium.
