Scuba diving, like acting in a school play, requires intricate equipment, plenty of practice, and the ability to imitate a frog. Leap into the underwater world with today's Groupon: £84 for a one day underwater photography course at The Tribe.
Dipping into the aquatic kingdom for almost a decade, this PADI Five Star scuba centre welcomes and instructs junior divers and submersion pros from its shimmering Nottingham base. The Tribe teaches thousands of divers a year, and presents an oceanic catalogue of opportunities, including dive holidays and one-to-one tuition. Children are offered fun and engaging introductions to the deep blue with a snorkelling club, while seasoned divers have the opportunity to join the centre's technical and commercial scuba teams.
Having been kitted out with a camera and frog-man gear, divers over the age of 12 will be introduced to the world of underwater photography as part of a day-long experience. The primary submersion will take place in a swimming pool, where attendees will be schooled in diving basics. As the day continues, the experience will be taken outside for two further dives where, under close instruction, divers will be able to take their cameras into the sea to capture aquatic scenes. During the day, each student will be served a burger, chips and a choice of hot drinks, with vegetarian alternatives available.
