Golfers of all abilities can take a swing at lessons in small groups with a PGA professional at Oakmere Park Golf Club. Beginners can cover the basics during six 60-minute lessons, while advanced players can learn more about long irons, fairway woods and bunkers, and course management with four 90-minute sessions. An 18-hole round of golf on the Commanders Course is included with both options.

What are the golf courses like?
There are two 18-hole courses at the club. The par-73 Admirals Course both challenges and charms golfers with its undulating terrain, ponds and the Dover Beck tributary. The par-72 Commanders Course consists incorporates trees and hedgerow to complement games with sweeping scenic views.
What about the driving range?
The bays are floodlit for night use and many have mirrors behind them so that players can view their swings. Video systems are also available to help golfers analyse shots and identify areas for improvement.
What can guests do at the clubhouse?
Visitors can enjoy tea, bar snacks and sit-down dinners at the “19th hole”. The clubhouse is also perfect for hosting dinner parties, birthdays, business events and even weddings – for which flower, cake and other arrangements can be made.
What other facilities are available?
An onsite shop selling golf clubs from some of the biggest brands in the game including Mizuno, Titleist and Callaway. Custom fitting is also offered with a trained club fitter.
