Petrolheads can get the hang of sliding sideways with a half-day experience from Learn2Drift. Sessions start with a 30-minute briefing before heading out onto the tarmac fully equipped with safety gear. Participants will receive a 90-minute introduction to performing doughnuts and figures of eight, as well as the chance to brush up on some weight shifting skills. Drivers then get to take a car out for three laps of the drift circuit in order to put their new-found skills into practice. The experience finishes with three laps as a passenger while the instructor shows off some high speed moves, with adrenaline junkies also able to opt for a six-lap ride-along. Customers can choose between five tracks across the UK, while anyone without a full driving licence can partake at the Bovingdon location only, subject to a surcharge of £39.50.
