The term Big Bang doesn't just refer to a cosmological event that shaped our universe forever but also the seminal opening of an encased meat emporium in the heart of Oxford. It was a mere five years ago when the (real) Big Bang was conceived. The opening concept was simple: to create a top quality Bangers and Mash restaurant using locally sourced ingredients full of character and with real big flavour. The restaurant exclusively uses independent small-scale suppliers including esteemed sausage connoisseurs such as David Johns, Hedges, Klemscott Manor and Vicars Game.
To compliment the food the company also searched high and low for the best English beer they could find and they have sourced one of the finest collections of real ales and lagers from across the land! Since opening, everything has gone so well that The Independent awarded The Big Bang the title of the third best place to eat in the whole of Britain for under £50. Sounds good doesn't it?
