This traditional Inn boasts a wealth of exposed beams, stone-flagged floors, a roaring fire to keep you cosy throughout the winter and a beautiful garden to enjoy in the summer, with an exquisite bar and secluded dining areas. The Boot Inn is the perfect location for a romantic meal for two, or a catch up dinner with friends. For only £27 you and a loved one can feast on three courses of delicious fare whilst you quaff on a delicate glass of wine.

Just in case you need a little more persuading here's a sneaky slice of what to expect. For starters you could try the cured Trio of Cured Salmon, smoked, gravadlax and beetroot (£6.95) or the Marinated Charred Squid with rocket, canneloni beans and chilli salad (£5.95). For the main why don't you dare to choose the bold Peppered Fillet of Kangaroo, this renowned dish is a favourite amongst the locals. And as for dessert, well where should we start? The Boot appears to be a typical small country pub from the outside but once inside you'll be amazed to find a stunning collection of boots and shoes donated by the rich & famous, from the great Sir Stanley Matthew's to Jeremy Clarkson and Ian Botham and including a flipper donated by Michael Heseltine MP. Located very conveniently just off the A40 and a short drive from Oxford, the Boot is well worth a visit".
