Taking inspiration from the hotel and motel, the slowtel was a resting place for unsuccessful athletes. Leave the fast lane with today’s Groupon: £95 for an overnight hotel stay for two with breakfast and two course dinner at The Manor Hotel.
With a colourful history dating all the way back to 1335, The Manor Hotel offers guests refuge amongst historic furnishings, decadent interior design, and four star facilities. While eyes are treated with leafy views of Datchet, and feet can to strolls through Windsor Great Park, tongues are also tingled with fine European fare in the hotel’s elegant restaurant and cosy fireside lounge. With an AA Hotel Guide rating, the holet proudly treats guests to amenities including Wi-Fi, TVs, DVD players in room, plus a gym downstairs.
Striding through the time-tested threshold, pairings can take some much-earned rest with an overnight stay in one of the hotel’s en suite rooms. After dropping bags, putting feet up, and making use of a range of cosy amenities, guests will be treated to a two course dinner in the hotel restaurant. Here the head chef will aim to silence bellies, presenting a mix of freshly prepared traditional tastes and innovative flavour creations. Double acts can then test the hotel’s sheep-counting facilities, before waking to the smells of a large breakfast, prepared by the team of resident culinary connoisseurs
The Manor Hotel has a satisfying 3/5 rating from TripAdvisors. Guests generally liked the warm atmosphere, the tidy beds and the value for their money. There are mixed reviews regarding the hotel’s facilities.
Have stayed here many times. The rooms are small but the beds are comfortable. Off the beaten path, quiet and convenient.

Despite being next to the railway station and under the Heathrow flightpath [sic] there was no problem with noise. Not bad quality for the price. Overall quite good.
