An old coaching inn perched on the banks of the Thames, The Red Lion Hotel celebrates its Tudor heritage with antiquated decor, an open fire, and a tranquil ambience. Transport
Rail: Trains from Brighton run on a daily basis to London Victoria station. Transfer by bus to London Paddington and take the train to Twyford, then change for Henley . Henley-on-Thames Railway Station is less than a mile from the hotel.
Road: Henley-on-Thames is accessible via the M25. From the M4 take junction 8-9 towards Henley.

The Red Lion Hotel received encouraging scores of 7.8/10 from Booking.com users and 3/5 from TripAdvisors. While some guests found the rooms a little noisy at times, many praised the hotel’s location near the centre of town and the river, décor, and helpful staff.
Stayed one night on as a birthday treat. Very pleasant - asked for room overlooking river and was given one. Although road underneath window, didn't notice any traffic in the night. Dinner was excellent - food piping hot and waiter service was excellent.
