Prior to the advent of curried dishes, the most popular form of chilly flake was snow. Heat up your taste buds with today’s Groupon from The Banyan Tree. Choose from the following options:
• £12 for an Indian lunch for two with Prosecco (Up to 62% off)• £24 for an Indian lunch for four with Prosecco (Up to 62% off)

Dazzling palates with authentic North Indian flavours, these discerning chefs plate up traditional dishes with contemporary style across the three floors of their city centre restaurant. The Banyan Tree team employs fresh, whole spices to conjure up colourful lunch and evening menus, while their specialised preparation methods allow them to cater for vegetarians and vegans with ease. Keen to introduce new clients to their Moghlai-style cuisine, the restaurateurs also operate a mobile catering service to add some Indian warmth to events which range from corporate functions to birthday bashes.
Starting the afternoon with a sparkle, guests can peruse the lunchtime menu over a glass of Prosecco each. Diners can indulge their senses with a choice of aromatic set meals such treats as a peppery lamb rogan josh (£8.95), or perhaps a vegetable curry (6.95), both of which come complete with rice and onion bhaji. Once grumbly stomachs are silenced, gourmets can look forward to a complimentary starter upon their next visit.
Reviews
93% of TripAdvisors recommend the Banyan Tree because of the dishes’ authentic taste and the staff’s warm hospitality.
The lamb was tender, the goan fish curry sublime the meal overall yet to be surpassed by any other Indian restaurant that I have been to in the UK.

In my view it is the best Indian food you will get in town by far because the menu is short, the food is fresh, light and uncomplicated. The service is friendly and there is always a very warm welcome and nothing ever seems to be too much trouble.
