Lauding over proceedings on the Plymouth coastline, this charming restaurant and bar offers magnificent views of the Plymouth Sound and beyond to accompany its fine array of delectable dishes. The soothing interior is simple but elegant, amplified by the abundance of light streaming into Georgian period windows while the outside decking area is spacious and serves a healthy helping of undisturbed vistas of the lapping waters and mountains playing musical statues upon the unending horizon.

Salty seadogs and a mate of their choice can head down to the promenade and delight in lunch for two by the waterfront. Appetites can get whet and wild with a palatable sandwich on white, brown or ciabatta bread with a wide range of fillings. For those with carnivorous tendencies, tender chicken is coupled with chorizo or tikka filling, while ham is coupled with aromatic wholegrain mustard, and cranberry piques the sumptuous turkey on offer. Arrived early, welcomed at the door shown to a sofa until our table was ready, Warm, inviting great atmosphere and great staff. Food came out after a short wait, presented like a 5 star restaurant without the pretentious portion size. I can honestly say the food is fantastic, fantastic atmosphere and friendly staff will be back!

We had a fabulous evening. It was packed and buzzing. The great location and extensive outside seating area make a it ideal for pre-dinner drinks whilst choosing from the not over elaborate but perfectly adequate menu. The ribeye steak was superb as were the triple fried chips ,onion rings and mushrooms. My fellow diners at our table were all equally impressed with their meal.
