Golfers rarely go hungry as they can choose from a selection of tees, fresh greens, and club sand wedges. Fill up on fun with today's Groupon: £19 for a round of 18 holes at Launceston Golf Club.
Lush fairways and scenic views at the Launceston Golf Club enhance the play on their challenging 6385 yard parkland course. PGA professionals can be hired at the club to help fine tune games or give a swift tour of the pro-shop, which is fully stocked with the latest gear from all the leading suppliers. A warm welcome, refreshments, and spare trousers for anyone getting a hole in one, are available in the clubhouse.
The perpetual battle between ball and club can be drawn out over a full round on the par 70 course as players work to master the orb and get close to par. After taking in the views, players will have to remain focused for every shot as the course features numerous tricky holes and occasionally pacey greens. High fives or commiserations can be offered up in the licensed bar and after the round is finished.
Although not widely reviewed at present, Launceston earns much acclaim from GolfShakers, who award the club an above-par 4.25/5 stars. Reviewers appreciate the well-kept course, and make note of scenic views.
A brilliant course with perfect greens. The second time I have played there and enjoyed it very much. Cannot wait to play there again.
