About the event
As the big top rears its pink and yellow head in Bude Holiday Park, Paulos Circus continues the century old institution of this family-run spectacle, leaping into its fifth generation of gasps, laughs, and airborne artistry. The tent’s interior will be bustling with balancing acrobats, daredevil trapeze artistes, and comedy mascot Patchy the Clown, with all the bells, whistles, and bright colours to oversized boot. Performing horses share the stage with a hula hoop master and fire dancers, as the audience perch on the edge of their seats at this family-friendly circus extraordinaire.

With the 2012 tour sporting a brand new big top, fresh illusions, and sparkling gags, the performing team will be descending on Cornwall's countryside for the spring season. Bedtime-friendly matinees start at 2pm on Wednesdays to allow little spectators a look-in, while the 8pm shows cater to a more grown-up crowd, and shows will run throughout the Easter weekend. The grandstand seats offer prime viewing, while steering clear of ringside attention from cheeky clowns and their buckets of water.

Groupon Says
The Groupon Guide to Egg Hunting
The Easter egg hunt is a fixture in family calendars nationwide – a time to remember the key values that keep us together in times of need: love, affection, and a willingness to exclude the little one if it means everyone else gets more chocolate. Here’s how to do it well:
Know your enemy
The Easter Bunny is a wily beast, and it takes a lot to outsmart her. Put yourself in her shoes and try really hard to imagine where you’d hide eggs if you were a rabbit. After that, head straight to a burrow.
Don’t be picky
Eggers can’t be choosers, so round up everything from Scotch eggs and eggnog, to the poor people whose parents thought Egbert was a good name.
Know where to look
Never mind scrabbling around under ornaments and plant pots at home, for a really successful hunt be a little more canny. Raid the nearest Easter arts and crafts fair, or check the faces of recently disgraced politicians.
Ask permission before hunting on someone else’s land. Poaching an egg is an offence in some counties.
Trust no one
Especially children. If someone tells you they’ve already checked the bathroom and there’s nothing in there, it almost certainly means they’re guarding a secret hoard of eggs.
