Home to cantering ponies and fuzzy alpacas, Finkley Down Farm lets families inquisitively explore their domestic parade of animals, with children having ample opportunity to bounce on trampolines or swing from zip wires.
Entering the ten-acre farm in teams of four or six, families can introduce themselves to over 24 types of animal any day of the week. The Clydesdale heavy horses and fuzzy alpacas are likely to inspire curiosity, with chick-handling and calf-feeding providing hands-on examples of country life. Children are well catered for with a variety of interactive activities, and are welcome to ride on mini tractors, or engage in a tug of war before the day is through.

Reviews
Finkley Down Farm attracts a glowing 5/5 stars from Qypers, who write favourably of the variety of animals, well-kept facilities and standard of play areas.
A lovely little petting farm for a day out with the family. Entrance fee is very reasonable. Farm isn’t huge by anyone’s standards but just about big enough for an afternoons walking about without it being too much for the little/older ones. Lots to see and many activities laid on for the children. Arm them with a bucket of food from the entrance first though or you will find yourself running back for some! On site cafe sells everything from fish & chips to ice cream or just a cuppa …
