A healthy spread of greens is laid out for the tee-off at Glendale Golf Duxbury Park, where a par 71 main course and a sprawling practice area with five greens are available to satiate all golfing appetites. Set in the lush expanses of Duxbury Estate, the 180 acre course features a golf bag full of challenges for players of all abilities. The centre also boasts a well-stocked Nike Golf pro shop where all manner of clubs and clobber can be snapped up. Visitors are welcome to retreat to the club house, which boasts a restaurant, bar, and patio area.
Stepping out on to the 6390 yard course, players can work again and again throughout the day to tackle each of the 18 testing holes. Characterised by its various blind bunkers, water hazards, and tree-lined fairways, players will require a delicate touch and some clever shot choice in order to card a decent round. All energy can be conserved for big drives as players are given a pull trolley to take the weight of their clubs, while the action will be fuelled with a tea or coffee for each golfer.
Duxbury Park Golf course received 3.5/5 from GolfShake reviewers, along with positive comments from UK Golf Guide users. While some felt the course was a little busy and opinions varied on the drainage, most players enjoyed the course and remarked on couple of particular holes that posed a decent challenge.
Standing on the first tee with a fairway that seems like a driving range ahead of you; it's easy to think that this course is going to be easy, and the first few holes lull you into that safe feeling. The sixth hole onwards though soon start to test you, with severe undulations, challenging greens and dangerous water in play.

Played here for the first time and found it to be a lovely course that was enjoyable to play. Generally friendly fairways, there are a few intimidating holes such as 6 and 10, which both have to be played over water.
