Putting the icing on the cake of decadent confectionary, The Cupcake Experience whets appetites with a range of cupcake decorating classes from a quiet Hornby Boulevard studio. Lead instructor Gill hones her baking passion with sweet decorating soirées for children’s parties and hen nights, while more dedicated students powder their trays for tiered cupcake workshops. With over 800 students already taught, Gill keeps classes accessible with free parking out front.
Warmly welcomed with a vintage cuppa and a fresh cupcake, customers can expect to learn the swirls and licks of decoration during a two-hour workshop with Gill. Clients will learn how to pipe buttercream through French and Grass nozzles before using sugar paste to create models of their favourite cartoon characters, crafted for fun themed snacking. Drawing on individual touches with food colouring pens and paints, students will be able to take home four of their masterful creations for decadent display or devouring.
