Providing a flash of photographic enlightenment, nature snapper Michael Ethan draws on over 20 years’ experience to put aspirants in the picture. The photographer loads his camera for refreshing outdoor classes which are based across a host of scenic Home Counties locales. Keen to spur inspiration in his students, the professional also holds competitions to pit developing button-clickers against one another.
Assembling in groups of up to 10, snap-happy pupils of all abilities can bring their own camera along for this four hour nature trek. Michael will lead classes through the regal verdure of Windsor Great Park, using a combination of theory-based tuition and practical exercises to demystify aperture, white balance, and other tricks of the trade. Keen to progress both artistic and technical skill, Mr. Ethan will help learners to recognise prime subjects for their snaps, and will take the group past scenery such as gardens, lakes and woodland.
