Offering the rare opportunity to see birds of prey in action, Feathers and Fur is home to a high-flying collection of these powerful animals. Based at Ladds Garden Village near Reading, visitors get to see birds dart through the air one minute, and get up close to them the next. The team includes Billie, Tom, Tilia and Ace: a European Eagle Owl, a Harris Hawk, a Common Buzzard and a Peregrine Falcon, to name a few, as well as the centre’s expert falconers.

Bird-lovers can book into an exhilarating two hour session at Feathers and Fur, where they will get the chance to handle these majestic birds and fly them free from the fist. In the course of a ‘flying visit’, would-be falconers in groups of up to 20 can also learn how these majestic birds are trained and take a guided tour of the aviary.
