A pair of gastronomes with a taste for the exotic can enjoy an Indian banquet with each diner tucking into a main, starter, rice or naan, glass of wine, and a side to share. Salivating starters include tandoori chicken (£3.95) and the plethora of main attractions includes lamb jalfrezi (£8.50) and prawn biryani (£9.95). Though still waiting to be widely reviewed, Gurkha Square received encouraging scores of 4/5 from an enthusiastic Qyper and 3.5/5 from initial TripAdvisor reviews. Diners complimented the friendly atmosphere and the quality of the Nepalese and Indian cuisine.
The food is great, the naan is fluffy and buttery and there are a great deal of vegetarian options. We will definitely head back next time.
